This is an exciting 12-month internship opportunity for a student studying a degree in engineering, biomedical science/engineering, biotechnology, or related. This is a chance for students to build on the foundational knowledge and theory from their studies and gain real-life work experience and higher-level skills.
As an intern at Schott, you will:
Work in the laboratory or workshop with scientific tools and equipment
Use engineering principles and scientific methods to help solve complex technical problems
Work on designs using CAD
Gain hands-on experience with medical technology
Support the team by conducting data analysis
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical Science/Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field
Completed at least 2 years of undergraduate study
Strong academic performance and a keen interest in medical technology
Basic laboratory and/or workshop skills and familiarity with scientific methods and/or engineering problem solving
Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python, or statistical software) and/or CAD software or design tools
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Curious, proactive, and ready to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
