Bondi Junction - Part Time (~22.5–24 hours/week) – up to 12 months
Kickstart Your Career as an AI Solutions Intern
Join Care Pharmaceuticals – home of trusted consumer health brands including Hydralyte, FESS, Zatiden, Theratears, and Dermal Therapy – and gain hands-on experience through an exciting internship opportunity!
As a mid-size consumer health company backed by the wider PCH/Prestige group, we combine the agility of a growing business with the reach of a global portfolio. We're passionate about helping people live healthier, more comfortable lives – and we're looking for curious people to help us apply AI to real business challenges across the company.
The Opportunity
We're hiring two AI Solutions Interns to work across the business – not tied to a single team. Rather than sitting within one function, you'll be deployed flexibly to support priority AI-enabled projects wherever the need is greatest – across functions such as Finance, Marketing & Innovation, Sales, Supply Chain, HR, and Technical & Regulatory, depending on business demand at the time.
This is a part-time role, requiring a commitment of approximately 22.5–24 hours per week, spread across three days in the office. It's the perfect opportunity to gain broad, cross-functional experience while balancing your studies in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
This internship opportunity is for up to 12 months, with a flexible start date to be confirmed.
You don't need to know everything – we're looking for someone curious, adaptable, and eager to apply AI to real-world problems across different parts of a business.
What You'll Do
The core of this role is building and testing practical AI solutions to real workflow and business-intelligence problems – taking a defined list of business challenges and turning them into working tools our teams actually use day to day.
• Solution building and testing: Design, build, and test AI-powered solutions against a prioritised list of business use cases across the company. Priorities are mapped by impact and resourcing, and rolled out in phases – you won't be starting from a blank page.
• AI-enabled ideation and prompting: Use tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude to support ideation, content generation, research, and decision-making across teams.
• Process automation: Help identify and automate manual, Excel-heavy processes and workflows.
• Tools and dashboards: Build templates, tools, or dashboards that make the solutions above faster, smarter, and easier for teams to adopt.
• Solution testing and refinement: Test and refine AI solutions with the teams who'll use them – gathering feedback, scoring what works, and iterating.
• Data and insights support: Analyse business, market, or operational data to support decisions in the function you're working with.
• Trend and capability scanning: Explore AI platforms, APIs, and emerging tools relevant to consumer health, pharmacy, or FMCG businesses.
• Training and adoption support: Help train the wider business on the tools you build, and support broader upskilling on using Copilot and Claude effectively in everyday work.
Specific projects will be assigned based on business priorities and your own strengths and interests, across functions including Finance, Marketing & Innovation, Sales, Supply Chain, HR, and Technical & Regulatory.
About You
• Final-year or postgraduate student in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Genuine interest in how AI can be applied practically across different parts of a business – not just one function.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot (including its more advanced/agent capabilities) and Claude – these are the platforms we use day to day.
• Comfortable working with both structured and unstructured data.
• Adaptable and proactive – happy to move between teams and pick up new context quickly.
• Able to build with AI tools, not just use them – e.g. structuring a multi-step prompt or workflow, chaining steps together, and testing/refining the output until it reliably does the job.
• Strong Excel or data literacy – comfortable structuring, cleaning, and interrogating data (formulas, pivot tables, or similar), since that's the foundation most of these solutions sit on.
• Structured problem-solving – able to take a messy business problem and break it into steps a tool or workflow can actually execute.
• Some evidence of having built something before is a strong plus – a tool, an automation, a model, or a project – even if it was self-taught or done outside a formal job.
• Familiarity with no-code/low-code automation platforms (e.g. Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Zapier) is a bonus, but not required.
• Any exposure to consumer health, pharmacy, or FMCG businesses is helpful but not essential.
What You'll Gain
• Broad, cross-functional exposure to how a consumer health business actually runs.
• Hands-on experience applying AI and data science to real business problems.
• Mentorship from leaders across multiple functions.
• The chance to help shape how AI tools are adopted at Care Pharmaceuticals long-term, with the possibility of a function-specific placement as the program matures.
