The opportunity

Charter Hall’s 2026 Internship Program offers a structured, hands‑on experience designed to build capability, confidence and long‑term career pathways in commercial property and funds management.

As an Industrial & Logistics Intern, you will support the day‑to‑day management of a diverse I&L portfolio with rotational exposure to key areas of the business, including Funds, Development and ESG. Working closely with experienced Property and Asset Management professionals, you will gain insight into how operational decisions influence asset performance, customer outcomes and long‑term value.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Support day‑to‑day property management activities across Industrial & Logistics assets, progressively taking ownership of tasks while collaborating with internal teams and partners.
  • Maintain lease administration, property records and system updates.
  • Assist with property reporting, budgeting and forecasting, including outgoings, Capex and maintenance tracking.
  • Coordinate inspections, contractors and facilities activities, supporting compliance and audit readiness.
  • Provide tenant support and assist with fit‑outs, make‑goods and operational issues.
  • Build broader commercial understanding through exposure to Funds, Development and ESG.

 

About You

You are curious, organised and motivated to learn. You apply sound judgement, take accountability for the quality of your work and communicate clearly with others. You enjoy working as part of a team, manage competing priorities well and are comfortable asking questions as you build confidence and capability.

You will also be:

  • Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian Permanent Resident
  • Final‑year student, available to commence part‑time in July 2026
  • Studying Property, Commerce, Finance, Business related discipline
