You’ll play a part in how CommBank makes informed, responsible financial and commercial decisions and be part of a diverse team working alongside accountants, analysts, business partners, auditors, investor relations, and specialists across treasury, risk, data & analytics and climate.

Finance & Accounting – Sydney

Over the summer, you could gain exposure across a range of Finance & Accounting teams, including Group Finance, Business & Product Finance, Data & Analytics, Climate Strategy, Audit, Risk and Controls, Treasury, Investor Relations, and more!

Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll build your commercial acumen, strengthen your analytical capabilities and develop an understanding of how financial insights influence business outcomes.

At the conclusion of the program, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your achievements and may be considered for a fast-tracked pathway into CommBank's Finance & Accounting Graduate Program.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have a degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics, with studies aligned to your chosen stream. This may include majors such as Accounting, Finance, Economics or Analytics. 

You’re also:

• Curious, proactive, and keen to learn.
• Bring commercial acumen and care about delivering value while solving problems and managing risk.
• Build strong relationships and collaborate well with stakeholders.
• Communicate clearly and thrive in a team environment.

If this sounds like you, and you’re: 

• An Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident at the time of application.
• In your penultimate year of your overall university degree, or if you’re doing a double degree (in your penultimate year).
• Achieving a minimum credit average across your degree.
• Sydney based, or willing to relocate to Sydney for the program at your own expense.
