About the role

Are you ready to teach Queensland’s future? Apply for our permanent and temporary primary teaching roles in state (public) schools across Queensland, commencing in 2026.

We're looking for beginning qualified primary teachers to support students from Prep to Year 6 (typically aged 5 to 12). As a primary teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering a diverse and engaging curriculum across the key subject areas including English, mathematics, science, geography and history.
