Barrawang Primary School acknowledges the Wurundjeri people as the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and stand on today. We are privileged that our school is located on this sacred ground and are grateful that the Wurundjeri people have cared for the land, waters and soil for thousands of years. We pay our respect to all Elders past, present and emerging.
Barrawang Primary School is an exciting new school located in Wollert that opened in January 2023. Our current enrolment is 373 students across 18 classes from Foundation to Grade 6. We are anticipating this will grow into 22 homegroups for 2026.
Barrawang Primary is proud of our strong, stable staffing profile, with a dedicated team that has remained consistent for the past three years. As we look to expand, we're seeking dynamic, passionate educators to join our supportive and thriving school community.

Our leaders understand the realities of classroom teaching and prioritise staff wellbeing in every decision. Applicants seeking part-time employment are encouraged to apply for any teaching service position and, if they are the successful candidate, request a reduced time fraction. Such requests will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to the operational requirements of the school.
