As a Graduate Trainee in Business Controlling & Analytics, you will play a key role in preparing, analyzing financial reports and operational measures, contributing to our decision-making process. What you'll do:
During your placement, you will work in our Singapore office and be exposed to the following areas within Business Controlling:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting by collecting data, building models, and consolidating inputs from various departments.
- Business Partnering: Work with different business units to provide them with financial insights and support their decision-making.
Data Analytics: Use various tools to collect, clean, and analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Business Intelligence: Develop high visibility reports that enables organization wide self-service and data driven decision support.
- Data Science: Support development of AI/ML models that combine large datasets to predict future trends and unlocks productivity gains.
- Process Improvement: Help identify and implement improvements to our reporting and analysis processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Participate in special projects as needed, such as cost-benefit analyses, profitability studies, and other strategic initiatives.
What you'll need:
- Graduates of 2026 or recent graduates with up to 1 year working experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with an Upper Second Class/higher or GPA score of at least 3.0 with major, including but not limited to: Business, Accounting, Finance or IT.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills.
- Creativity in problem-solving and strong analytical ability.
- An appetite for an ambitious career and ability to adapt to new situations within a fast-paced environment.
