Market Check is proud to launch our 2027 Graduate Program, designed to nurture and develop the next generation of leaders in the agricultural industry. Our inaugural graduate program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, extensive training and expertise in the Australian grain market. The program offers successful applicants experience across our Trading, Operations, Logistics and Advisory teams. The program aims to equip graduates with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in the competitive grain industry while fostering professional growth and personal development. Graduates will work with some of the industry’s most experienced and talented grain market advisors.

If you are ambitious, driven, and eager to make a tangible difference in agriculture, this program is the perfect opportunity.

The program is broken up evenly across different business units, with three months each in Operations, Trading, Logistics and Advisory. The successful applicant will be based in our Sydney office for 9 months, with a 3 month placement in either Wagga Wagga, Melbourne or Adelaide.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotational placements across different business units to gain comprehensive industry exposure.
• Assist in conducting market research and analysis to support client grain marketing strategies.
• Physical grain contract administration and execution.
• Grain stock and bank reconciliation.
• Transport planning & scheduling.
• Price discovery & recording.
• Negotiation & grain brokering.
• Process recording and improvement.
