About Sales

At nbn, we serve as a wholesale network provider, partnering with phone and internet providers. These phone and internet providers bring our products to market under their own brand, pricing and segmentation strategies. We actively support and engage with them to develop their fixed product strategies.

Our Sales team is dedicated to building industry partnerships and fostering a vibrant, commercially sustainable retail marketplace. We manage direct relationships with phone and internet providers across all streams of activity, including sales, network, marketing, operations and performance.

What's in it for you?

Embark on four dynamic rotations within the Sales function and related areas, each designed to build essential skills for a successful career. Your journey begins with the Account Management team, where you'll focus on building relationships with a phone and internet providers, enabling their strategy using nbn products and resources, including network access, product launches and insights. Subsequent rotations will immerse you in Customer Insights, the Products and Pricing team, and Digital Marketing, providing you with a diverse skillset to excel in the vibrant Sales environment.

We offer permanent, full-time positions based in our Melbourne (Docklands) and Sydney (North Sydney) offices.

What we look for in a graduate

We're seeking graduates who excel in stakeholder management and possess strong influencing skills. Your analytical abilities mean you can identify trends and insights from data, and your methodological mindset helps you solve complex problems.

If you enjoy customer-facing roles and thrive in dynamic environments, this role is for you. You'll use creative problem-solving and data analysis to address market issues and meet customer needs.

Successful candidates will likely have a degree or major in Business, Commerce, Economics, Data Science, Law, Finance or Management. If you're a recent graduate with a passion for sales and client-facing roles, and think this career path might be for you, we want to hear from you.

Our program is designed to build the foundations that will help you transition into Associate roles within Sales.

To be eligible for our 2027 cohort you must meet the below eligibility criteria at the time of application:

  • You are a Citizen of Australia / New Zealand, or an Australian permanent resident; and
  • You are in your final year of university and due to complete your degree before the program commences, or; you have completed your final subject in the last 24 months; and
  • You are available to commence full time work from February 2027.
