About Strategy

The Strategy team sits at the centre of the organisation, partnering directly with senior leaders to shape long‑term direction and help leaders and teams solve complex commercial problems. Our role is to help leaders and teams across the organisation make better decisions by bringing clarity, structure, insight and constructive challenge to complex questions.

What's in it for you?

As a Strategy Graduate, you won't be observing from the sidelines. You'll be involved early in real business problems, exposed to senior stakeholders, and expected to contribute meaningfully from day one. The program offers hands on experience with high impact, organisation wide strategic work, early responsibility and direct engagement with leaders, and a steep learning curve that builds judgement, influence and commercial acumen.

What we look for in a graduate

Strategy Graduates bring strong analytical capability, are comfortable working with data and complex problems, and can balance detailed analysis with big picture judgement. Above all, we value curiosity, resilience and initiative, people who run toward hard problems, seek stretch opportunities, and believe that even in uncertainty, we'll figure it out.

Graduates interested in joining the Strategy team typically have an educational background in commerce, economics or finance; engineering or STEM disciplines; mathematics, data or analytics; or law, public policy or related fields. We value diverse academic backgrounds; strong thinking skills matter more than a specific degree.

To be eligible for our 2027 cohort you must meet the below eligibility criteria at the time of application:

• You are a Citizen of Australia / New Zealand, or an Australian permanent resident; and
• You are in your final year of university and due to complete your degree before the program commences, or; you have completed your final subject in the last 24 months; and
• You are available to commence full time work from February 2027.
