Graduate Accountant – Launch Your Accounting Career within Australia’s Digital Infrastructure Leader!

As part of the NEXTDC Graduate Program 2027, you’ll join a high-performing Finance team that plays a key role in supporting our rapid growth and innovation. You’ll be part of a team that sits at the centre of how NEXTDC operates, one that directly enables our growth, funds our expansion into new markets, and keeps us accountable to our investors and stakeholders.

What You'll Work On

In this role, you’ll get hands-on experience across core accounting, reporting and tax. You won’t just be processing transactions, you’ll understand why they matter and how they connect to NEXTDC’s broader strategy.

  • Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting processes
  • Preparing journals, reconciliations and supporting reconciliations/schedules
  • Supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed asset management
  • Working with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate financial data
  • Assisting with audit requirements and compliance reporting
  • Preparation of BAS and other tax workpapers

You'll also get exposure to projects that go beyond business as usual, including:

  • Our expansion into Asian markets
  • Automation and process improvement initiatives across Finance
  • Cross‑functional projects with Data Centre Operations and Technology

Eligibility & Preferred Backgrounds

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident 
  • Have completed your most recent undergraduate or postgraduate degree within the last 3 years of the program start date (February 2027) 
  • Be ready to commence full time work at the program start date in February 2027 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related fields 
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and passion for learning 
  • Interest in Technology, AI and Digital Infrastructure 
  • Working towards (or intending to commence) CA/CPA qualification is advantageous
