Our Team

From take-off to landing, Thales offers the most complete range of solutions to provide dynamic Air Traffic Services to support today's growing domestic and international travel requirements. Utilising this knowledge and experience Thales Australia will deliver a harmonised Civil/Military Air Traffic Management System (OneSKY) in Australia to Airservices Australia and Defence.

This will enable a new level of safety and efficiency, while also reducing delays for the travelling public and providing opportunities to improve environmental outcomes. OneSKY will transform Australia’s sky and we are proud to be partners in its delivery.

Your Role 

Working from Tullamarine airport and Melbourne office in the World Trade Centre on Wurundjeri land you will work as part of a team to deliver a first of its kind air traffic management project.

What does your day to day look like?

  • Create system integration test documentation ensuring external interfaces have been delivered as per requirements

  • Provide end to end integration and support

  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders throughout development lifecycle

  • Work cross functionally with the various engineering disciplines within the business

  • Contribute to and provide guidance on setting up environments for testing, validation, and acceptance activities. 

  • Contribute to continuous process and technical improvements

Your Experience 

What we value most from our graduates is a willingness to learn however the below will also come in handy

  • Recently degree qualified in Engineering, Aerospace or Computer Science

  • Site software integration deployment / support knowledge and /or experience

  • Knowledge of networks and network configuration 

  • Experience with Python, Unix/Linux highlight desirable

  • A true desire to work in a diverse team towards a common goal

  • You are methodical, love solving complex problems and are not afraid to think things through before offering a solution

  • Australian Citizenship to be eligible for security clearance
