About the Alternative 

Launched in 2024, the Alternative is a South Australian program changing how people begin their careers.

AGA is The Alternative’s Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) Delivery Partner and are responsible for the assessment, selection and recruitment of graduates into the program. AGA, is a community-based, not-for-profit company with over 40 years’ experience growing the skilled workforce of tomorrow. AGA specialises in recruitment, mentoring, retention, performance support, training management, and employee wellbeing.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate logistics for events, including scheduling, vendor management, venue bookings, and attendee communications.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of both virtual and in-person events.
  • Work closely with the marketing and design teams to develop event promotional materials.
  • Assist with creating and curating content for social media platforms, newsletters, blogs, and the company website.
  • Draft and edit press releases, internal memos, and communications to stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent and clear messaging across all communication channels.
