2027 Victorian Government graduate program - Disabilities pathway

The People with Disabilities pathway in the Victorian Government graduate program supports graduates with disabilities to access a safe, inclusive workplace and reasonable adjustments. 

This pathway is designed to better understand you as an individual and provide equitable access throughout the application process, with ongoing support during your graduate year.

Working in a range of roles across different departments over 12-months you get to experience multiple departments and agencies across government through structured rotations.  As a graduate, you’ll have opportunities to learn and grow with mentors and peer networks including executives and senior leaders. 

On successful completion of the program, you’ll move into an ongoing role, providing you a career pathway in the public sector where you’ll work with purpose.

You'll get tailored support during your application, throughout the program, and your role on successful completion of the program. 

Program benefits

  • a starting salary of $68,408 plus super 
  • personal and professional training

  • An offer of an ongoing position and pay rise to $83,941 plus super on successful completion

The generalist stream is open to graduates from all academic disciplines. You’ll do a broad range of work so you’re well-rounded and experience different perspectives and ideas. 

The accounting and finance stream is open to graduates with a major in accounting, finance, banking, commerce and business management.  

The data analytics stream is open to graduates with majors in biostatistics, computer science, data analytics, data science, econometrics, engineering, information technology, mathematics, modelling, science and/or statistics.  

Economic consultancy stream is open to majors in in economics or econometrics.
