Culture, development and social
Work is so much more than just time at a desk. We want to make the Quantium Experience exceptional, and we have lots of ways we do that every day.
Sparq – the backbone of our social and cultural events calendar. It’s what brings our people together whether that’s through annual celebration events like Quantium Day (a company-wide overnight trip!), knowledge shares, fireside chats or team social events.
Development programs – the development of our people is a responsibility we take seriously. Partnering with leaders across our Analytics and Engineering communities, our Learning & Capability team deliver a variety of development initiatives including our award-winning Graduate Academy, Advance Program, People Leader Kick Starter, People Leader Accelerator and Executive Development initiatives
Application Process
The Quantium recruitment process for all of our Graduate positions is a four-step process comprising of an application form, virtual testing and video interviews with our team. You will be guided through this process by our virtual assistant Olivia who will be able to answer all your questions and schedule your interviews.
We encourage all applicants to choose carefully and consider their strengths as you are able to apply for one stream only; Analytics or Engineering. If you are unsure as to which you should apply for, please reach out to our team with any questions you might have.

1. Submit your application
Submit your resume and answer some application questions.
2. Complete an online technical assessment
If your application is progressed you will be invited to complete a timed online technical assessment in which you will have until midnight on April 6 to complete.
The quiz will be made up of multiple choice and free text questions and you will have one hour to complete this.
3. Competency assessment
a 40-minute assessment which consists of workplace scenarios, behavioural questions, and cognitive games that measure how you approach challenges, work with others, and solve problems.
4. Values based video interview
A recorded video interview where you will answer questions based on your motivations and the Quantium company values.
5. Technical video interview
The video interview changes depending on which stream you have applied for:
Analytics: You will complete a 1-hour, live virtual case study with one of our analysts where you will discuss the outcomes of the study.
Engineering: You will complete a 30 minute interview with a member from the engineering team. In this interview you will be given the opportunity to select what language you would like to complete your interview in as well as what field of engineering (frontend, backend etc).
You will not be required to write any code during this time.
Here are Mic’s tips and tricks:
- Submitting your application
- Make sure you tell us what date you completed your studies and not when you’re planning to attend your graduation ceremony. This could be the difference in your application progressing or not.
- A cover letter and your academic transcripts are not crucial to your application.
- Only submit one application for your preferred stream (Analyst or Engineer)
- While your application is lodged into our internal system called QPP, we use a third-party platform provider called HireVue to run our end-to-end recruitment process, so please look out for progress emails from this name
- Technical assessment
- The assessment is a maximum time of 1-hour
- Read the questions carefully
- Make sure you’re in a comfortable setting, minimising distractions and ensure you have a stable internet connection. The one-hour timer starts as soon as you open the quiz and you cannot save it to complete at a later time.
- For analysts - use a calculator if you need.
- Make sure you’re using the same email address to complete the quiz that you submitted your application with.
- Competency assessment
- This is a timed assessment totalling in a maximum of 40 minutes
- There will be a range of video questions and games to assess different skills
- This assessment consists of workplace scenarios, behavioural questions and cognitive games
- Values based video interviews
- Do your research into Quantium, what we do and our company values.
- Understand the STAR (situation, task, action, result) framework and apply it to the questions asked
- Remember we want to get to know the real you so be yourself.
- Technical video interview
- You will have 1 hour to work on a series of case study questions during a virtual meeting with one of our analysts
- This interview is an opportunity to talk through how you got to your solutions
- Final interview - Engineering
- While this is a technical interview, you will not be required to code on the spot.
- This interview is an opportunity to talk through how you reach solutions.
- Clearly communicate what you're thinking and your reasoning. We want to know how you problem solve
