We're excited that you're considering a career with Toyota. Our recruitment process is designed to help us get to know you, your potential, and what motivates you, while giving you the chance to learn more about us and our Graduate Program.
1. Apply Online
Start your journey by submitting your application, including your chronological résumé and a 60-second video introduction.
We're looking for graduates whose values align with Toyota's mission and vision, so be sure to showcase who you are, what drives you, and the experiences that have shaped you.
Once you've submitted your application, you'll receive a link to complete the next stage of the process: online testing.
2. Online Testing
You'll be invited to complete an online skills assessment, which includes verbal and numerical reasoning tests.
These assessments help us understand how you approach problem-solving and provide another opportunity to demonstrate your potential.
3. Phone Interview
If your application progresses, one of our team members will contact you for a phone interview.
This is an opportunity for us to learn more about your motivation for joining Toyota, your career aspirations, and the experiences you've gained so far. We'll also provide more information about the Graduate Program and answer any questions you may have.
We'll ask a number of behavioural questions, so we encourage you to use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action and Result) when sharing examples from your experiences.
4. Assessment Centre
Candidates who are successful in the previous stages will be invited to attend an in-person Assessment Centre at one of our Toyota locations.
Through a combination of group activities and one-on-one interactions, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your strengths, collaborate with others, and experience Toyota's culture firsthand.
Before the Assessment Centre, you'll also be invited to an information session where we'll walk you through what to expect and share tips to help you prepare with confidence.
5. Compliance Checks
You're almost there!
As part of our final stage, we'll conduct reference and background checks to support the recruitment process. This helps ensure we're setting everyone up for success from day one.
6. Offer
Congratulations!
If successful, you'll receive an offer to join the Toyota Graduate Program and begin an exciting career journey with us.
