Graduate Program Application Process:
Our recruitment process is pretty straightforward, and we focus on first getting to know you and then understanding how the Kmart Group may be the right fit for your career aspirations.
Step 1: Complete an online application form
This helps us capture information about your skills, background and experiences. We want to hear why this program is the right fit for you and your career path. We’re keen to know what’s motivating you to join our team!
Step 2: Online assessments
All eligible applicants will be invited to complete a short online assessment designed to help us get to know you — not just your skills, but how you think and work.
At this stage, you’ll also complete a short video interview. This is your opportunity to show us who you are, how you communicate, and what matters to you. Throughout the process, we’ll be looking for key capabilities and behaviours that set our graduates up for success at Kmart Group.
Hot tip: We know video interviews can feel a little daunting, but the best approach is to be yourself. Try not to rely on a script – we’re more interested in how you naturally think and communicate, so relax and let your personality come through.
Step 3: Assessment Centre and Interview
The Assessment Centre gives you the opportunity to connect with our people, ask questions, and experience what it’s really like to be part of Kmart Group.
You’ll take part in a range of interactive activities, designed to give us an idea about how you think, collaborate and communicate. Just as importantly, it’s a chance for you to learn more about the program and get a real feel for what life as a Kmart Group graduate looks like.
